About Me:

EDACOM has been operating since 2004 and is managed by me and Michael Arendsen. Together we possess more than 38 years of management experience in a number of fields including customer service, operations, risk, health and safety, human resources, marketing, financial, sales, procurement, contact centre, supply chain and IT. EDACOM is a name derived from our three focus areas, viz: Electronics, Data & Communication.
• Electronics – EDACOM is registered with all major IT brands to procure and supply computer hardware, software, office equipment and a selected range of consumer electronics. Our product ranges include: HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, Epson, Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, HTC, Xerox, and more.
• Data Systems Development – to speed up the process of capture, reorganisation, interpretation and application of data into usable information.
• Communication – to plan for effective organisational transformation (incl. QMS; BCP; DRP; etc.) and appropriate skills development training to the benefit of both the company and its employees.
My contribution to the success of EDACOM is to take care of the Communication business unit. My focus, when assisting a company, is two fold:
Firstly, I assist the management of the company to: • Assess the global needs of their company, • Assess the career development needs of each individual employed by that company, and • Assist in the development and implementation of a plan for transformation that is aligned with the company’s vision and to benefit all concerned.
Secondly, I am qualified to facilitate training on a number of subjects and all training I provide will be given with a special emphasis on the legal and NQF compliance issues, as set by SAQA. Any training needs I am not able to cover personally will be outsourced to qualified individuals/companies who partner with EDACOM and are trusted within their field of expertise.
With each individual focusing on growing and establishing a career that is aligned with and supports the vision of the company, a win-win situation for all concerned will be created. The difference in the atmosphere within that company will be tangible (suitable, embracing culture).
