About Me or My Organisation

Doug spent 20 years in corporate management with diverse experience in Auditing, Logistics, Sales, Transformation, Strategy, Marketing and General Management at Board level.

He has international auditing and management experience in the UK and Belgium. He has facilitated national and international conferences in South Africa, United Kingdom, France, United States, Singapore and Taiwan.

His corporate career included multinationals like Unilever and Ernest & Young. He served on the Board of PG Bison for 3 years before venturing out on his own. During this period he was also MD of Formica South Africa where he and his team turned the business around.

Doug is currently the owner of Strategy International (SA). They help their clients get results through powerful strategy and growing people. They facilitate the achievement of highly competitive strategies, support effective implementation of those strategies through coaching and people development. They have worked for diverse clients including ER24, Spescom, Nedbank, Dorcas Aid, Sasol and the Mining Development Agency.

He is also Co-Founder of MyGenius, CoNectar Networks and PeoplesPages. He is a certified Results Business coach and is passionate about helping people achieve beyond the expected. His clients say his strengths as a coach are that he builds trust quickly, listens intently, asks powerful and strategic questions, and inspires people to achieve their goals.

Doug is a committed Christian and is very involved in the leadership of the local church. He is a board member of the South African Theological Seminary.

He has a B Com. and an MBA. He is happily married and has a great relationship with his 3 sons. He is also a Pastor of the Village Church in Chartwell.

Doug’s primary focus is to grow their clients to be able to achieve their goals.
