I am 24 years of age. A young, vibrant, energetic individual seeking to get all I possibly can out of life. I am a dreamer at heart and believe in dreaming big and reaching for the stars. Shining my light upon this world.
I'm a catalyst and an adventurer at heart. There are no problems, only solutions. It excites me to find solutions to problems... in any field. My mind is always filled with ideas. Then the fun part is the process that leads to the implementation of these ideas. I LOVE business and I'm a total MyGenius Junkee!!! LoL.. Love the concept, love the community, absolutely have a passion for it....
I believe that you only live once ,and that should be more than enough motivation, not to waste it. I also believe in making your own success.
WHY would any normal person want to go cycling around the African continent? It’s madness!!
Well firstly, I am at heart an adventurous soul and secondly I have quite a few mitigating reasons for wanting to fulfill this outrageous dream of mine.
I have a passion for Africa and her people. The rich diversity, the warm-hearted people, the infinite possibility that comes with the power of positive thinking, believing in yourself and dreaming with your heart.
I believe in the goodness of people and the power that lies within each individual soul to bring positive change into this world.
I believe that life is about more than just the daily mundane fight we so easily find ourselves trapped in. Of course the hardships we experience are for a reason, but how you choose to react to these hardships is where the difference comes in. I believe in the power of dreams, I believe in reaching for the stars. I only get one shot at my life now here on earth…and to me that is more than enough reason not to waste it.
On the 27th of March, 2008 I launched the first leg to this epic journey where I cycled solo from Johannesburg to Cape Town, being the first woman in history to do so. An act that would display the power that comes with following your dreams and positive thinking put into action. A journey where I had to get out of the pool of fear and take a swim in the ocean of possibility. A journey of personal empowerment that taught me to ‘get out of my own way’. A journey that would ultimately show the people of South Africa that nothing is impossible. I reached Cape Town on the 11th of April 2008.
In September 2008 I will launch from Signal Hill in Cape Town and cycle approximately 40 000 kilometers circumnavigating the African continent carrying a message of peace, love, joy and unity.
It is my aim to have one million people from around the African continent, synchronize in focusing their energy on thoughts of love, peace, joy and prosperity at the end of this journey. One million people focusing their energy on thoughts of love, peace, joy and unity for one minute, thereby displaying the power of positive thinking to the world and creating an act of unity throughout the African continent. It’s never been done before and there are those who might not believe in what I believe. But my beliefs do not require them to. Each and every single human being wants love, peace and joy to rule in their lives. You need not be of a certain race, culture or religion.
I will have a support vehicle following me, carrying supplies and documenting this journey thereby also giving people an inside look at Africa’s stark beauty, it’s warm-hearted people, diverse cultures, creative art, unique music scene and the infinite possibility that lies within.
I will be the first woman in history to circumnavigate the African continent on a bicycle. I will also be stopping off in Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro.

I am absolutely blessed to have a support system like no other. A group of exceptional individuals who are always willing to help where they can. Always giving advice and always right there if I need help. It is quite overwhelming when people are willing to help you , even if it is just in the smallest of ways.
To those MG's who are dear to me, who have been there for me every step of the way and who share in my dreams. THANK YOU! I promise to make you all proud.
I love the outdoors and any extreme sports. Music plays a huge role in my life. Love both making it and listening. I like coming up with new ideas...anything that's 'different'
Guess I could define myself as a bit of an adrenalin junkee.
My passions in life are: firstly---> Helping others. Then: music ,people, art, nature and animals and business.
I love any kind of challenge.
As long as it's exactly that. And as long as I get to have loads of fun while doing it.
I love traveling, meeting new people and learning more about others' cultures. I love languages.
I am a very open-minded person, always full of ideas.
Ultimate goal: To be self-employed, free to enjoy all the good things in life. Not having to HAVE to do anything. Nothing is impossible!!
